Coaching Team
Natoshia Zeller Head Coach

Coach Tosh is originally from York, Pennsylvania and moved to Ocean Pines in 2016.  Swimming has been a big part of her life, as she started swimming at the age of 4 and began competitively swimming at age 6.   After 2 years of swimming for the York YWCA swim team, she switched to the York YMCA to swim competitively year round.  Tosh continued swimming at the York YMCA for the next 10 years and also swam for her high school team, where she was became the team captain and qualified for districts and states.  While there, she set a high school record with her teammates for the 400 free relay.  Her favorite events were the 100 butterfly, 200 IM, and 500 Free.  Tosh received a scholarship to swim at Kutztown University, but unfortunately due to an injury, her swimming career ended her first year.

She went on to Culinary Arts School and graduated with a Culinary Arts Degree.  After being a chef for many years, she made the decision to stay home with her 2 little girls.

Coach Tosh has found her passion and love for swimming again by helping young athletes reach their true potential.  She believes there are three factors that lead to a swimmers success, attitude, discipline, and proper technique.  She makes it her goal to instll these 3 things in every swimmer she comes across. There were a few coaches over the years that really made an impact on her, and helped her become who she is today.  Tosh hopes she can do the same for the swimmers on the Ocean Pines Swim Team!

Danielle Pappas Assistant Coach

Coach Danielle started swimming when she was 5 years old. She swam for the Andover Tigers in Linthicum, Maryland during each summer between the ages of 5-18. She became involved with year-round swimming when she was 10 years old, starting her year-round swimming career with GBSA before switching to SPRC Stingrays. She began coaching as an assistant at Andover at the age of 14 and continued coaching for 5 summers. Once she graduated from high school, she continued her education at Salisbury University where she swam on the SU Women’s Swim Team for 2 years. Although she broke a handful of records and was nominated as the MVP during both seasons, she made the difficult decision to give up swimming after her sophomore year due to a persistent back injury. Her favorite events were 100 Breaststroke and 50 Freestyle!

Danielle graduated from Salisbury University in 2014 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology.  She also graduated from Walden University in the Spring of 2020 after completing her Master’s Degree in K-5 Reading and Math Education. Because she has always had a passion for teaching and working with kids who are eager to learn, she jumped back into coaching with the goal to instill the same love of swimming that she has always had in the next generation of swimmers!
